Buerre Bosc Pinot Gris
Wine
Pike & Joyce Buerre Bosc Pinot Gris is inspired by the dry styles of Alsace in France. It is grown in the Adelaide Hills, on a block that was once a Buerre Bosc pear orchard.
The fruit is handpicked and transported to the Clare Valley for vinification. A small amount of the wine is fermented in barrel for complexity, while the remainder is fermented in stainless steel.
Straw green, Pike & Joyce Buerre Bosc Pinot Gris is medium bodied with apple and pear flavours, fine minerality and a crisp finish. Cellaring potential is three years.
